Since early childhood, animals have been the center of Dr. Jones’ world. After some close calls with her own pets, Dr. Jones decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine so she could help and heal animals in need of her care. With a special interest in holistic medicine, she received her specialized certification in Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Acupuncture. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Murray State in Kentucky before attending Tuskegee University in Alabama for vet school. Dr. Jones has a warm, calm, compassionate way with all of her patients.

Her family is made whole by her husband 3 dogs (Qi, Azeal, Girlie), 3 cats (Mama, Velcro, Whatamess), roost of chickens, and 4 aquariums. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, outdoor activities, and gardening. Dr. Jones is guided by the phrase, “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.”
