Alyssa

Registered Veterinary Technician

Alyssa is a compassionate and driven Registered Veterinary Technician who joined the Yorkshire team in 2023. Originally from Pueblo, Colorado, she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Pima Medical Institute and quickly found her calling in helping animals feel their best—especially through her growing passion for veterinary dentistry.

She chose to pursue a career as an RVT because of the profound impact animals have had on her own life. Now, she finds purpose and joy in giving back to them through excellent medical care. Her long-term goal is to continue advancing her skills in dentistry to provide even more specialized care to her patients.

Alyssa is the youngest in a close-knit family that includes her mom and siblings. Her home is filled with personality thanks to her unique pet family: two leopard geckos named Cheetoh and Puff, two playful cats named April and Louie, and a box turtle named Gurdy. She’s also a proud SpongeBob fan and collects pineapple-themed items as a tribute to her favorite show.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys playing volleyball, tending to her houseplants, playing video games, painting and drawing, working out, and spending quality time with her family.
