Amanda M.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Amanda has been a valued part of the Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital team since 2014. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she grew up spending summers in Colorado before making it her permanent home. Already living locally, she joined Yorkshire for its strong reputation in gold standard medicine and commitment to exceptional patient care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Missouri (Mizzou), and later returned to school at Pima Medical Institute, where she completed her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Her decision to go back to school was driven by a desire to find more joy and purpose in her work—and she found exactly that in veterinary medicine.

Amanda has a particular passion for accurate record keeping and training new team members, always striving to elevate the level of care and collaboration in the clinic.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, camping, and playing video games. At home, Amanda shares her life with two beloved companions: Cookie Monster, a domestic shorthair cat with lots of personality, and Bug, a young golden retriever who’s still learning his manners (and keeping her on her toes).
