Registered Veterinary Technician

Kate has been a dedicated member of the Yorkshire Veterinary Hospital team since 2019. Born in South Korea and raised in Colorado Springs, she grew up as a military child and always felt a strong pull toward helping animals—ultimately leading her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins. Kate was drawn to Yorkshire by her desire to make a difference in the lives of animals and to be part of a team committed to compassionate, high-quality care.

Her favorite part of the job is seeing pets who are genuinely happy to visit the clinic and helping to make the veterinary experience a positive one for those who are more hesitant. She finds joy in building trust with patients and celebrating their progress.

While she doesn’t currently have pets of her own, Kate enjoys the company of her parents’ dog, Cooper. In her free time, she loves reading and gardening. Her professional goal is to continue learning and growing as a technician, constantly expanding her skills to better serve her patients.
