Veterinary Assistant

Tonia is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant and Pharmacy Technician who has been a key part of the Yorkshire team since 2020. Raised in California, she’s been working in veterinary medicine since 2000, bringing decades of experience and compassion to every patient interaction. Her love for animals is what first led her to this field, and it continues to fuel her work every day.

As Yorkshire’s Pharmacy Champion, Tonia leads the way in managing our online pharmacy operations, making sure clients receive the best care even after they leave the clinic. Her favorite part of the job is seeing pets at every stage of life—from playful puppies to wise senior companions—and helping them live happy, healthy lives.

Tonia shares her home with a vibrant collection of fish, spread across tanks ranging from 150 gallons to 10 gallons. She lives a full and loving life with her husband and their four children, and her heart is happiest when she’s surrounded by family and pets.

In her free time, Tonia enjoys riding her Harley and sports bike with her husband, attending her kids’ sporting events, camping, hiking, and embracing her love for all things Tim Burton. Her dream for the future? To travel overseas and see the world beyond Colorado.
